Anyway, while we're ''down south'' we stop in Wrentham to get our shopping on. We decided to try the trip with the babies. It's usually super busy so we know to get there early. It was empty when we got there and got started with the marathon shopping. I like to buy clothes a year ahead so I'm always prepared wen we go up a size or when the seasons change.
After 4 hours of shopping we were all tuckered out and needed lunch [don't worry, we had fed the babies]. We headed out and decided to cram our day even more full of fun and excitement and head over to Gillette Stadium [home of the New England Patriots]. They have made the stadium into a day trip and put in a bunch of restaraunts and stores on the the property so we had plenty to do and eat.
We stopped at Red Robin...yum...for lunch. The boys were amazingly well behaved. I ordered steamed carrots for them. Note to self...Red Robin uses real baby carrots for their steamed carrots. They were too crunchy when they came out so I had to send them back until they were mushy enough for the babies. In the meantime, they munched on some french fries. I feel terrible for giving them french fries. I swore I wouldn't do it until they were closer to 2, but I caved and I'm still kicking myself.
After lunch we ran over to the practice field to see if the team was still practicing. They weren't but, it was fun to see anyway. Then we walked around and saw some sights and did some shopping. I can't believe we survived the day with only minor issues and we actually had fun too. It's sure to be an annual tradition.
