Per the SLP's suggestion, I brought Ben to an ENT today. We went to the same one who did Eli's tonsils/adenoids/tube. As ususal the wait was hours and silly me didn't call ahead figuring he wouldn't be backed up at 9am. OY...
So he decided to do a scope to see his vocal chords. Everything is anatomically fine. Tonsils, adenoids, vocal chords, epiglotis, etc, etc, etc...
BUT...
He saw irritation in his throat from reflux...
HMMMMMM...
I feel like I mentioned that to the pedi at one of his first check ups and I was told he wasn't cranky enough to have reflux. UMMM... have you met Ben? He's as cranky as they come.
So now we wait for his pedi to get back from vacay to see if he'll prescribe some meds for my poor little monkey. Can we just fix this, please?
