Patriots' Training Camp

We decided to brave the masses and head on down to Foxboro for Patriots' Training Camp.  It was a nut house.  We definitely don't have to do that again until the kids are about 15 years old.

We knew we weren't going to spend much time "watching" them practice so it was a good thing there's lots to do at Patriot Place.  There was an obstacle course set up for bigger kids.  The lines were super long, but Eli got to try out a few things.

Then we had to pose for pictures just like last year.

We managed to accomplish all this with 2 out of 4 kiddies having Hand, Foot, and Mouth.  Of course, it was Eli & Ben.  Ben spent most of the day in a very unhappy state...but we survived!

Spinners Game #2

This time the Spinners Game was sponsored by my school.  Because of an water main issue at work, Dave wasn't able to join us.  My mom stepped in and helped out.  We sat on the opposite side of the field this time.

National Ice Cream Day

Who knew there was such a thing?  I guess Facebook did, because that's who told us.  Because we like to follow the rules and participate in as many holidays that involve eating ice cream as possible.

We chose to go to Shaw Farm, a local, family owned farm that milks their own cows and makes their own ice cream.  Trying to keep it local!

Across the street from the ice cream stand & country store is the actual farm.  They welcome kids and families over to feed Bailey, the donkey, and chat with the calves.

Triplet Picnic

Our local Triplet Group has an annual picnic.  This is our 2nd year going, since this is our 2nd year having triplets.  I have no idea how many sets of triplets there were, but I would guess at least 10.  It was held at a state park with a reservoir/lake.
We also tried out the boys' new puddle jumpers.  They were much less traumatized by them than the PFD's.

Mirthday #22

I know I say it every month, but I can't believe how quickly my 3 lb babies have grown to 20+lb toddlers!

Quick Updates:

Ben-says about a million words (ok, about 40+).  You say a word once and he repeats it and uses it correctly.  Remember when I was panicking about him???  He loves slides, especially going down on his belly.  He eats everything!  He especially loves fruit and veggies.  He will also eat everybody else's leftovers.  He loves puzzles and often asks to color when he sees a pen/pencil/crayon/marker.  He also is the most apt to use signs with words to ask for something.  Likes to slide down the stairs on his belly.  He loves sticks/rocks and has to have 1 in each hand when he is outside.

Nate-talking like a champ.  He is able to go up/down stairs independently.  He is a bit picky with his eating, but loves his milk.  He is the mother hen.  He returns items to their owners (hats, flip flops, water bottles, etc).  He knows his brothers' colors.  He loves to buckle himself in his carseat and high chair.  He loves to give "High 5's".  He loves the Itsy Bitsy Spider song, Twinkle Twinkle, and the ABC song.  He is a trash picker upper...he will hand it to me and say "yucky poopy."  He loves to stand on his carseat in the van during buckle up time and turn on all the interior lights.  He loves to close doors (especially the bathroom).  He has a serious "Meow."

Sam-loves observing the world around him.  He is able to go up/down stairs while holding onto the railing.  He also loves buckles.  He will initiate "peek-a-boo" and "I see you".   He's still eating things he shouldn't be (dry noodles, dry beans, mulch, sand, etc).  He loves to throw balls (& other things). He can be rough with his brothers.  He is getting good at repeating 2 word sentences "No touch.", "No hit."  He loves playgrounds and can climb up ladders and rock walls.  He is going to take after his Daddy and be our Legomaniac.  He loves large vehicles (tractor trailers, dump trucks, etc), he calls them all "bus".  He is our greeter.  He says Hi/Bye to everybody with their name.  He has great expressions and uses his hands "Where'd it go?"  "Uh oh" & does the appropriate hands.

You have no idea...

Unless you have triplets (or even 3 small children), you have no idea how nice it is when stores are considerate enough to have a triple cart.  Even more exciting than that is when said triple cart can fit into the bathroom...

...and you are able to pee without fighting off 3 toddlers who are trying to stick their hands in the toilet...

This is almost bliss to a triplet mommy!!!

1st Spinners Game of the Season

We have 3 Spinners games booked this season and Eli has 4!  Our first game was sponsored by Eli's school.  He enjoyed seeing kids he knew and being a big goofball!  The babies were exhausted and a bit of a handful (to say the least).
