You're my hero...

Before I start this post...let me warn you...I have no shift key at the moment.  I'm doing caps with the caps-lock key and can't do any fun punctuation...OY [exclamation points here]...

I've been home alone with all 4 boys for over 3 weeks now.  When we don't have therapies, I JUST HAVE TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE.  I can't stand staying cooped up all day every day, so we go out.  At least once/week we go to Target.  We finally got Eli's school supply list yesterday so we went to Target today.  I had to put the babies in the Triple Decker and pull the shopping cart behind me.  Eli wandered around and helped push the cart most of the time.

So as I'm schlepping all my junk around and trying to scratch things off the list for Eli's school, a woman says to me ''You're my hero.''  Not so sure how to take that one.  I'm not sure if I should be offended or complimented.  It's getting a little old.  When we go the beach, people say we're amazing.  When we go to Target, I'm a hero.  I'm just doing what I need to do.  I'm definitely not a hero or amazing or anything spectacular...Heroes rush into burning buildings to save people they don't even know, or they leave their families for months on end to protect our peace and freedom, or they jump off a bridge to rescue somebody going down stream...I am not one of these people.  I'm a mom and I'm just doing my job.
