28 Week Appointment

So today was another early one. Yikes! 1st we had a growth scan, fluid check, and cervix check. We had a different tech today and she was very chatty and excited to be scanning triplets. It looks like Baby A is our chunker, which is o.k. because he's on his own so he's not stealing from his brothers. He's weighing in at 2 lbs 14 oz which is in the 55th percentile for singletons! Yay! Bring it on! Babies B & C are about even (YAY!) and their fluid looks good. B is still 1 oz bigger, but no big worries. He is 2 lbs 6 oz and C is 2 lbs 5 oz. They're in the low 30's percentile wise. I feel like I'm at school and I need the bell curve to explain to parents what that means! Ha!
Next we did weight/BP and chatted with the doc. Weight didn't change. I don't know how, but it didn't. BP was 118/62. And my belly around is 50.5" (I measure that myself...it's not "official"). Oh, yeah and my cervix is "a mile long" according to my dr. (it's still 4+ cm).
My dr is super excited about my progress and is in awe of my stats. He's happy about the boys' sizes, about my cervix and my blood pressure. We got some paperwork today and had to talk about anesthesia (we have a consult next time). I've never had a c-section so I'm a little freaked and my epidural was nuts last time so I definitely want to talk to the anesthesia people.
I got another week off for good behavior, but after that, I'm in every week at least 1x/week. Next week is Eli's 1st day at Ste. Jeanne D'arc so I'm glad I got the day off.
I did take a belly pic this week, but I'm too tired to upload/post right now. I'll add it in later.
Thanks for all the prayers and crossed fingers...it looks like it's working. The next step is getting all the baby gear organized and the room ready. It's easier said than done as I'm not super mobile and lifting big boxes isn't really my thing right now. Any volunteers to come help???
OOOOOOH, van pix later too! We pick it up at 5!!!

Pix are Up!!!

Here I am propped up like the Princess & the Pea

You are a rock star! I think you are going to be in the small percentage that carry to 35+ weeks. Keep up the good work. Glad to hear the fluid issue is not getting worse.

Hey Renee, Glad you and the boys are doing so well. Congrats on your new wheels, too! Good luck with Eli's first day next week. It won't be the same around Heath Brook without you!
