Golfing Tiger

Eli has recently signed up for golf through his school.  They bus him to lessons after school and drop him off at 5:30 so I can pick him up.  Never in a million years would I think to put him in golf, but he LOVES it!  It dawned on me that he doesn't have to run or catch a ball, so this is the perfect sport for him.

He's gone two times now and can't stop talking about it.  Dave picked up a goofy hippo putting game and Eli was estatic!  So while perusing Craig's List, I found a set of used kids' clubs listed.  Dave met up with the seller and brought them home last night.

(Excuse the terrible photos...I was flat on the couch trying to get my back to work properly and couldn't sit up straight)

He nearly squealed with delight.  He kept pulling out the clubs and saying, "This is the (insert name of club here)."  He really enjoyed them and can't wait to use them at golf on Monday.  The other fun thing is that they're blue (his favorite color).

Then after the fun of the golf clubs, Dave surprised him with his new Tiger Cub uniform.  He couldn't wait until the meeting on Friday so he had to put it on right away.

Dave even got him a Tiger Cub book which I think Eli slept with under his pillow last night.  I'm so glad he's finally found activities that he enjoys (for now).
