We also had an appt at MGH on Tuesday. We brought Eli with us since we were all together on the Cape. I had a quick u/s to check on baby A (Han Solo's) heart since he wasn't in the mood last time. It looks good! They took a quick peek at everybody else and they're all looking good too. My cx is still long and thick and I've gained another 7 lbs! Eli had fun for about the first 10 minutes of the u/s, he even figured out where a hand was on the screen.
Some new annoying symptoms have sprouted up so I figured I'd share:
-weird sharp burning pain below my sternum that wakes me up. When I asked at the Dr. they told me it was from all the stretching and tearing of my muscles and whatever else is under there. So, not life threatening, but uncomfortable.
-losing circulation in my limbs. I'll be asleep on my left side and my right arm goes numb. Hmm....somebody must be sitting on a nerve.
-swelling feet. They get HUGE! I've got to keep them up with cold compresses to get them back to somewhat normal.
-pulsating. I can feel my pulse all over my body, in my head, in my fingers, in my belly. So weird.
-bass beat. I have the most annoying bass beat in my right ear. It feels like I was at a club all night and now my ears are still paying the price. At first I though Dave had put sneakers in the dryer, then I realized it was my ears.
In other news, the gas bubbles have slowed down and I think my boobs have too! Finally!
I'm on a "every 2 week" appt. schedule now. So I've got a "quick" appt in 2 weeks, then 2 weeks later a growth u/s. I think it will continue like that until August or so. Keep praying for us...we really appreciate it!!!
Also, if anybody would like to install an inground pool in my backyard for this week, come on over! It seems to help with the swelling too...

On another note, I think I might have fixed the "comment" issue for those of you who don't have gmail/blogger accounts. Try and see and let me know if it doesn't work...

Sounds like a great vacation! Around now you are going to have to start slowing down majorly. I think it was about 24 weeks when I hit my first "wall" and not able to do all of my normal things. Make sure that you are drinking a TON of water too while you are in this heat. I don't know if it helped me carry so long or not, but I got it from Dr. Lukes book, right around this time too I started taking Omega 3's and a calcium, magnesium and zinc supplement as well as my folbic that my doctor had prescribed. All of those vitamin supplements are showing promises as to helping prevent preterm labor. Keep up the good work!
Take it easy. Just found your blog and it's bring back memories!
Do you know what you're having?
