Bowls & Spoons

After a recent MoM's night out, I was peer-pressured into giving the boys bowls and spoons for meals.  Unless you have triplets, you don't understand the fear that concept instills in a mom.  They've been working on it a bit with their EI therapists, but I figured I'd give it a whirl...just for giggles...
Ignore the shamrock table cloth...I've been a bit busy and haven't had time to switch it over to an Easter one...

We started off with scrambled eggs.

Benji
They mostly used their hands, but attempted to scoop with the spoons.
Natey
We switched over to squash chunks once the eggs were gone.
Sammy
I think they were really excited about eating like big boys.
Benji's digging in...
We had very little "dumping" or "throwing" and those were my main concern.
Sammy's getting the hang of it.
Overall, I think it was pretty successful...
Nate loves making a mess.
 ...until they got bored...
Right side up!!!

Awesome job boys!

Only one of my guys is there yet. His OT asked me last week if I'd tried it yet and I just laughed and said no. He actually did really good so now I'm trying to give him more practice at home. Which of course causes issues with the other two because they want to do what brother is, oye.
