Ski Trip 2012

We started out on Friday afternoon.  I had a 1/2 day and Dave took the day off to pack the van.  Our plan was to get everything loaded up and head over to pick Eli up at 2 when he gets out of school.

It worked! And we even had enough room for Eli in the back!!!
(his school was celebrating Mardi Gras...if you're wondering about his outfit).

We even managed to do the whole drive without stopping and made it up to the rental house by 4ish.  That gave us an hour to get settled, feed the babies, choose the bedrooms, and unload the van.
Crazy car picture of the mountains.  There was even some snow!!!

Saturday morning, Eli was signed up for Ski School (and for Sunday and Monday too).  The babies and I went over to Waterville Valley Rec Center to get some play time in.

Saturday night, we went down to the fireworks at the town center.

Sunday, it was back to Ski School for Eli and the rest of the gang drove around to check out the town.  I was finally able to spy on Eli long enough to get some pictures.  He's the black/gray blob attached to the teacher (aka blue blob).

Eli's not in this picture.  This is just a mountain shot.

We hung around at the mountain for lunch.  The babies had their pouches and Dave
and I had the most delicious soup ever (I'm not even being sarcastic...It was delish!!!)

Then back to the house, we set the babies up in front of the fire.

The view from the top.

The view from the bottom.

Monday morning, we headed back to the mountain to drop Eli off for Ski School.  Dave decided to get a few runs in too.

 Battle Wounds:
Ben decided to pierce his lip (yup...it went all the way through).

And I decided to erase my finger prints by cutting up some melon for the babies.
Then the 5 of us (minus Eli) went back to the Rec Center to get our play on.

Here's the proof that all that Ski School really paid off...

Way to go, Ben. Now I can hook you up with some good body jewelry!
