For those of you that don't speak "Ben", sa-goo, is Benjanese for "snuggle." He'll crawl up on my lap and say "sna-goo". Awwww, love my little snuggle-bug!!!

I'm truly blessed to have 4 amazing little men in my life. To start my day off, they let me sleep in a bit. Then Eli was nice enough to make me some delicious toast with butter. Then they showered me with gifts...all jewelry of course! After that, church, brunch, nap, & ice cream. What else could a mommy want???

Water Time

The weather finally warmed up a bit. We took advantage of it and filled a teeny bucket with water and squirty toys. They babies also got to try out their new re-usable swim diapers and water shoes. I was hesitant to take pictures of them in their swim diapers because they look so goofy, but I had to do it. What's a mom for if not to take embarrassing pictures of you and post them on line?

Yes, the swimmy diapers are meant to go under a swimsuit. We figured we'd save the swim suit for when we're out in public. When we're in the backyard, they can rock the diaper...

While he was sleeping...

For a few months, this is what we find when we get Ben up out of his crib...

We know the blood is coming out of his nose, we just don't know why. We have a humidifier going in their room all the time, so it's not dry air. After this particular incident, I'm thinking he's picking his nose and making it bleed. Both nostrils were bloody and his fingers were covered. We're changing his sheets constantly.

Honestly, child!!! You need to be a little less adventurous with the nose picking!!!

BBQ

In honor of my Memere, we had a mini family reunion BBQ at our house (aka Eli's b-day celebration #1). The kiddos had a fun time hanging out with cousins and such that they don't get to see all that often. We also had a photographer (the lady who did the famous "babies in a box" shoot) come to the house to take some generational pictures and some candids of the party.
I tried my best to take some pix, but trying to take care of 4 kids, feed them, feed myself, and host a party, doesn't lend a lot of time to actually taking pictures. I'm not even sure what I got...

Also, the babies discovered watermelon...and they LOVE it!!! They ate almost a whole mini watermelon yesterday...

Naughty Boys

The boys have been getting a little more brave and a little more comfortable with their Gross Motor skills...a little too comfortable. We keep finding them in interesting situations...

3 babies in a basket

Shortly after the babies commandeered the blanket basket as their own play-fort, Benji started pulling off pieces of wicker. He would then bring them to me and say "stick". We had to remove the blanket basket from the living room for fear that it would just be a pile of sticks pretty soon.

Our living room is in a constant state of flux. Furniture is never in the same place for very long. Once the babies figure out a way to cause a problem, we move something. Also, now that the heat is finally turned off (hopefully until at least October), we could move the couch all the way back to the heater. Sam has discovered this and thinks it's a fun balance beam for babies. He tried it out walking from window sill to window sill along the top of the radiator. He then was nice enough to teach his brothers...Yay for teamwork!!!

Eli's B-day Celebration #1

It did take me 3 days to deliver Eli (yes, ladies, that's 57 hours of labor), so he's more than entitled to 3 days worth of birthday celebrations.
We had a BBQ to celebrate my grandmother being in town. She lives in CA and hasn't been here since I was pregnant with Eli. She came out to meet all of her new grandsons. Because of this, we didn't have a big party with lots of kids. It was more laid back and just cake and family.
He did get some presents though, his favorite being an IPOD. I can't believe he has an IPod. He's been walking around the house all weekend with his headphones on, jamming out to "You are my Sunshine." Just looking at him, Dave and I wonder when our 5 year old turned 12.
